Karen is a co-author of “The First Fifty Years,” published in 2023 alongside Ralph Acampora, and George Shade Jr.

She has held several leadership roles throughout her career, including serving on the board of the Chartered Market Technicians (CMT) Association, where she was Past Audit Chair, Past Treasurer, and a member of the Executive Committee.

Karen has also been actively involved in her local community, previously serving as Treasurer for the Aksarben Curling Club and Treasurer for the Lake Manawa Sailing Association (LMSA).
